Another week, another 7 days spent inside. Ya girl is going crazy. My hair deodorizer sprays are my only friends. We have parties with the plants. Sometimes we have parties without the plants, but that’s just between you and me. Don’t tell them! Speaking of parties, it’s also time for another holiday! I guess the universe did not listen to me back at Easter when I asked for that to be the only holiday during this time of social distancing! Cinco de Mayo is this week and y’all know I love a good excuse to down some margaritas.

Will you be celebrating this year? Calling up your favorite local Mexican restaurant and getting take out? Now is the best time to do that! Keep supporting those local businesses! Especially if you are in a state that lets you order drinks to go. Plus chips with salsa and guacamole are just my absolute favorite go-to snack. I’m thinking we will get a full spread. All the taco meat options plus all the toppings you want. Social distance party at my house! I’ll make some homemade sopapilla’s for desert. Have you heard of sopapilla’s? I feel like they aren’t as popular as I think they are, but oh my goodness they are delicious and you can’t forget the honey.
And remember to pick out a new hair perfume scent for the week! I’m using Apple Pear this week. It’s beginning to feel like summer and I need a fresh fruit smell. And Apple Pear is a mix of two of my favorite fruits! So grab ya a bottle of some sweetness.
