Happy Momma’s Day to me and to every mother out there! Honestly, I think every day is Mother’s Day, I mean, you don’t just stop being a mom. But it is super duper nice to have a day where I can celebrate with my family. Celebrate the life of my own mother and cherish in the lives of my children. I know I’ve told the story a thousand times, but I owe my company, Hair Shots, to my precious daughter Bekah.
Because of her dreams and goals in volleyball, my dreams and goals for hair perfume were born. I still can’t believe that was when she was in middle school, my hair fragrance creations were just getting started and here she is, graduated from college, and working in a school herself! I’m such a proud momma today! And don’t worry, Micah, I love you too! (Can’t leave out my big boy! He’s stinky sometimes too).
I owe everything I know about being a mom to my own mother. I love and miss her dearly. She taught me strength and perseverance. Determination too. What did your mom teach you? How did she impact your life?
