So these past couple of weeks in Texas have been weather crazy. One day it is bright and sunny and the next it’s cloudy and rainy. Which, if you are native to Texas, is totally typical. This past weekend was one of those crazy weather one’s for sure.
I went to the Rangers game and the first half I kept wishing I had an umbrella to block the sun and heat and the next minute I needed that umbrella because it was raining! Normally I love the rain, but when your outside at a ballgame it is not the weather you want.
But aren’t rainy days the best days to just snuggle at home and maybe be productive? Like clean the house or respond to some long overdue emails? I have to admit, I should have done that today but instead I baked. Big delicious brownies. Oh my goodness the house smells so good now! I love baking and all its yumminess! Rainy days are perfect for brownies, cakes, cookies, or even cupcakes! That’s right, you didn’t think I could go a whole post without mentioning a hairshots flavor did you? The cupcake scent is perfect when you are feeling all warm and sugary. And I am pretty sure I feel all warm and sugary all the time, good thing cupcake is one of my favorites. Ahh, rainy days are truly wonderful.
